Process quality confirmed at the highest level
We are pleased to announce that FRÖTEK-Kunststofftechnik GmbH has been successfully awarded the Formula Q capability certificate as part of a comprehensive process audit by the Volkswagen Group.
The audit took place on October 16, 2024 and covered several product groups in our portfolio. The results speak for themselves:
- Pressed/stamped parts: 91 %
- Plastic injection molded parts: 90 %
- Power distribution boards / busbars HV: 91 %
- HV connectors: 91 %
These ratings correspond to quality level “A” and confirm our ability to meet the highest demands on production processes, documentation and delivery quality – a decisive factor for cooperation with leading automotive manufacturers.

What does formula Q mean?
“Formula Q” is a comprehensive quality standard of the Volkswagen Group that commits suppliers worldwide to uniform processes, product safety and quality performance. Only companies that can prove in an audit that they meet these requirements receive the Formula Q capability certificate.
